Menulis. Aktifitas wajib setiap manusia untuk mengenal dunia ini. Dari membaca, mengamati bentuknya, kemudian menuliskannya. Ada yang menarik, ada yang ingin ditunjukkan, mengekspresikan diri, dari sebuah tulisan, yang mungkin akan bangga jika dibacanya sendiri, walau belum tentu begitu bagi orang lain. Aku, belajar menulis.
Pertama, ku bermimpi. Sejak kecil, kapankah ku bisa menulis seperti mereka. Para penyair dari bumi pertiwi. Mereka menulis. Yah, sebuah sajak, puisi, pantun, aku pun mengikutinya. Tahap belajar ini lah ekspresiku. Ku tabung semua tulisanku dalam buku, yang ku sumpal dalam laci kecil meja kamarku. Malu. Aku malu menunjukkannya. Walau itu murni kreatifitasku. Murni karyaku. Syarat akan perasaan egoisme disana. Aku tak perduli. aku tetap menulis.
Kemudian, aku belajar kembali. Menata tulisan. kalimat demi kalimatnya agar terlihat indah, bermakna, berbobot. Mau tak mau aku juga harus membaca bukan? Yah, ku baca majalah, koran, bahkan ku jejali dunia internet hanya untuk membaca, menambah wawasan, kemampuan, semua demi ekspresi diri, agar aku lebih bijak dalam menulis. Ternyata menulis itu lebih sulit dari membaca. Pikirku saat masih beranjak SMP.
Tak lama kemudian, banyak buku ku baca tentang internet. Tentu ini sejak SMA. Aku cukup terkejut. Mimpiku ku pun meluas. Membludak. Aku ingin bebas. Itu pikirku hingga detik ini saat SMA dulu. Saat kecil, ingin ku mampu berpuisi menyair di atas pentas, sepertinya tidak berbakat, puisiku hanya terpajang di gedung sekolah, di mading-mading, tak pernah beranjak ke majalah untuk di publikasikan, akankah ku berpikir berhenti menulis? Tidak. Sejak SMA inilah bludakan mimpiku ingin menulis terus mendesakku. Ayo Menulis. Tunjukkan saja. Toh tak ada salahnya. Pikirku saat itu. Maka ku coba membuat sebuah blog. Hanya untuk memenuhi mimpiku. Menulis hingga ke ujung dunia.
Dari blog pertamaku, berjudul tentang teknologi, TechnoAndEarth yang membahas tentang ketertarikanku akan dunia ini, alam dan kreatifitas manusia dalam mengembangkan ilmu peradaban dunia. Aku menyerah saat blog itu berumur 2 tahun. Sejak SMA kelas 2 hingga saat-saat masuk kuliah. itulah masa transisiku. Ingin menulis, tapi minatku hilang seketika itu. Sudah 6 bulan lebih aku vakum dari dunia tulis menulis lewat blog. Akhirnya aku mencoba menulis kembali, kali ini dengan modal. Yah, beberapa puluh ribu untuk menyewa domain dan hostingnya. Ini sebagai konsekuensi, bahwa aku tak boleh menyerah begitu saja di tengah jalan, ini blog sudah ku tebus dengan uang, aku harus semangat menulis.
Tak mudah memang. Ku coba blogwalking, ku temui blog Pak Agus cukup heran, terutama karena jumlah komentarnya yang banyak walau artikel yang ada sedikit waktu itu. Inilah yang mencoba ku jadikan motivasi. Aku ingin seperti beliau, bahkan banyak blogger yang mengomentari artikel beliau juga memiliki artikel yang bagus. Apa yang salah denganku? Ternyata prinsip berbagi, memberi wawasan baru, memberi manfaat lewat informasi, yah, itu kekuranganku. Kini ku tahu, blog tidak sekedar ekspresi seperti dulu. Jauh kedepan, aku harus bisa memberi manfaat, dengan menulis artikel-artikel yang benar-benar bisa membantu rekan-rekan blogger. Akhirnya ku terus mencoba hingga ini.
Walau mimpiku terasa jauh, Menulis hingga ke ujung dunia, tapi bukanlah hal yang tak mungkin, jika banyak blog seperti blog Pak Agus, Mas hengky, dan masih banyak yang lainnya yang terus memberikan motivasi, sekedar berbagi spirit dan semangat untuk terus NgeBlog, agar semakin banyak yang menulis, untuk memajukan semangat menulis lewat blog, dan untukku sendiri, menggapai mimpiku, menulis hingga ke ujung dunia.
