Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, known professionally as Siti Nurhaliza, is a Malaysian singer, songwriter, record producer, television presenter, and entrepreneur. She was born on11, 1979, in Kampung Awah, Temerloh, Pahang, Malaysia. Often referred to as the “Voice of Asia” and the “Malaysian National Treasure,” Siti Nurhaliza is widely considered one of the most successful Malaysian artists in the music industry.
Throughout her career, Siti Nurhaliza has released numerous albums and singles, both in the Malay language and in other languages. She has also been awarded accolades for her performances and albums, including awards from the Anugerah Industri Muzik Malaysia, Anugerah Bintang Popular, MTV Asia Awards, and more.
Siti Nurhaliza began her professional music career in the early 1990s after winning the Bintang HMI (a Malaysian singing competition) at the age of 16. She released her self-titled debut album in 1996, which became a massive success, and gained widespread attention in industry. Siti Nurhaliza married her husband, Dati Khalid Muhammad Jiwa, in 2006. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Siti Aafiyah, in 2018.
